Actisan-5L is a highly effective disinfectant for disinfecting surfaces and areas that come into contact with food and beverages and their raw materials. It can be used in the food, healthcare and animal sectors, for example. The disinfectant combats bacteria, fungi, yeasts, algae and viruses, making it particularly suitable for stables and livestock transport. Actisan-5L is also used to combat micro-organisms in swimming water in therapeutic baths and private swimming pools.
Actisan-5L consists almost exclusively of active substance. This active substance is very stable and therefore gives very predictable and reliable disinfection results. The disinfectant enters into a chemical reaction (oxidation, in fact a combustion reaction) with micro-organisms. Resistance formation is therefore not possible. Due to the tablet form for 5 liters of water, Actisan-5L is very easy and accurate to dose. Due to the almost neutral pH value, Actisan-5L lacks the aggressiveness of, for example, sodium hypochlorite (chlorine bleach).
